Biofuel Expo 1-4 October 2008

1-4 October 2008, Oil b will be present at the Biofuel Expo 2008, an event that will take place in occasion of ZEROEMISSION ROME, a manifestation which is a point of reference for all the companies and workers who are involved in the development of renewable energy, and who support the environment. Biofuel Expo is the only Italian event, in the Mediterranean, which is dedicated to the marketing and the industry of sustainable biodiesel, which represent a valid alternative, regarding energy and climate, to the fossil combustion, for automotive, for both civilian and industrial use. We hope to see you at the Fair in Rome, from 1 to 4 October 2008, Pavilion 5-Stand P21.

Among the events at the Biofuel Convention, we recommend the session entitled, “Biodiesel: technology and marketing”, organised for 2 October 2008 from 16.30, during which Oil.b will take part, with the participation of Mr. Giuseppe Speroni : "Biodiesel: environment and sustainability".

3-6 September 2008 IOR REVIVAL- Sanremo.

Oil. B will be the official sponsor of the IOR REVIVAL, a nautical event which will be held in Sanremo, from 3-7 September, organized by the said company, the Sanremo Yacht Club, in collaboration with the Sanremo Town hall.
This event is, in fact, the first meeting of our time, which is reserved only for sailing boats of the IOR type, which were the main boats in the Regattas between 1968 and 1993. In the national and international panorama, every year, numerous nautical events are organized, but at present, not one is controlled exclusively by IOR, which makes the Sanremo one, a unique event of its kind. It will be a fantastic and unforgettable meeting between shipowners of different generations of sailors, who will be able to race together, in spite of different ages and different experiences. Oil.b’s sponsorship of the IOR Regatta of Sanremo, wants to draw attention to the company’s concerns about the environment, nature and human resources.

31 March 2008 time 10.30 Environmental Report 2006 of Oil.b S.r.l. Solbiate Olona (VA).

On 31 March 2008, at Solbiate Olona (VA),the plant’s headquarters, Oil.b S.r.l. will officially present the Environmental Report 2006.

It is the first time in Italy that a company in this sector invests in an environmental certification, which demonstrates the will of Oil.b to carry out development objectives, that are sustainable for the whole community.

At the round table of biodiesel, which will take place after the presentation, it is expected the participation of: Dr. R. Deserti, General Manager of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies, Dr. L. Vecchi, Vice-General Energy Manager of the Ministry of Economic Development, Dr. M.R. Di Somma, General Manager of “Assocostieri” and Dr. M. Calceti, in charge of the Bioenergy Confederation of Farmers in Emilia Romagna.

The Environmental Report is a document which describes the relationship between Oil.b’s activities and the environment. In it, the main environmental problems are described, as are the strategic approach to deal with them, the organization for the environmental management, the actions carried out for the protection of the environment, and from the statistical data as well as the indicators that document the impact of the production activity of biodiesel and the financial aspects linked to the environment.

The Environmental report is certified by the external company “IT Group Italia S.r.l. which guarantees its completeness, accuracy and comprehensibility.

 Oil.b also received, in the month of September 2007, the Certification of the product ISO 14001 from Certiquality, as well as the integrated Environmental authorization according to the IPPC Directive in the month of June 2007.

New Fair of Rome

In occasion of the 20^th World Congress of Energy, which will be held in Rome from 12-15 November, Oil.b S.r.l. will be present with its own stand (B06) inside Pavilion 4.

This event,  which is taking place for the first time in Italy,(and returns after 15 years in Europe ),is promoted by the WEC (World Energy Council), the most important international organization in the Energy sector.

The event will host a congress which will be the only occasion for the delegates of the WEC, the representatives of the international organizations, and the most important companies in the energy sector, to meet and to discuss the development of the energy markets and the connecting problems.

There will also be an exposition area of 25.000 square metres, with the participation of the energy consumer and producer countries from all over the world.
